SBRK Dev Team ("we", "us", or "our") built the Socket Tunnel X app (the "App") as a free/ad-supported application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Usage Data: App usage statistics, connection timestamps, and session duration (no browsing history or traffic content is collected).
Crash & Performance Data: Error logs and performance metrics to help us improve app stability.

1.3 VPN Connection Data

The App provides VPN functionality. We want to be transparent:

We do NOT log, monitor, or store your browsing activity, DNS queries, or internet traffic content.
We do NOT sell, share, or distribute any user traffic data to third parties.
Server connection metadata (e.g., which server region you connect to) may be collected for service improvement purposes only.

2. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

2.1 Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This includes device identifiers, IP address, and usage data. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

2.2 Google Play Services

The App uses Google Play Services, which may collect device information and usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.

2.3 Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK, we use the Google UMP SDK to display a consent form for personalized advertising in compliance with GDPR. You may update your consent preferences at any time within the App settings.

3. Advertising

The App displays advertisements including banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded ads, native ads, and app open ads. These ads are served by Google AdMob.

If you have consented to personalized ads, AdMob may use your advertising ID and browsing behavior to show relevant ads.
If you have opted out or are in a GDPR-covered region without consent, only non-personalized ads will be shown.
You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

SSH-encrypted tunneling for all VPN connections.
No storage of user credentials on external servers.
Google Play Integrity API to verify app authenticity.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Deletion: Request that we delete your data.
Opt-Out: Opt out of personalized advertising.
Consent Withdrawal: Withdraw your GDPR consent at any time via the App.

7. Data Retention

We retain automatically collected data only for as long as necessary to provide and improve the App. Crash logs and analytics data are retained for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted.
